A taste of Serbian is a series of workshops that will allow you to get a taste of Serbian language and culture, and take a virtual tour around Belgrade.

In 4 weeks, you will get to discover a new language, with flavours of a culture that brings together the East and the West!
You will learn how to introduce yourself and others, ask and answer questions about personal details, understand and use familiar everyday expressions, and interact in a simple way in Serbian.
Belgrade is known as a dynamic city, with friendly people and good food. Who knows, maybe after these workshops, you’ll want to take part in some other Circle U activities taking place in Belgrade and visit the city in person as well!
When and where
The workshops will take place on Zoom, from Mid-January through Mid-February 2025.
There will be six sessions in total and a language certificate will be issued after the completion of the course.

The workshops are organized by prof.dr Dalibor Sokolovic<https://www.circle-u.eu/about/platforms/mil/dalibor-sokolovic.html>, the University of Belgrade Academic Chair of the Multilingualism, Interculturality and Language Lab (CU.mil)<https://www.circle-u.eu/about/platforms/mil/> as one of informal learning opportunities aiming to diversify the opportunities to learn and practice other languages, including lesser spoken languages, and experience different cultures through internationalization at home.
